Received yet another bouquet from the boyfriend. I used to think flowers are impractical and a total waste of money. Having received countless bouquets, I've come to agree that guys have to waste that money once a year.

I couldn't agree more that Valentine's is super overrated and over-commercialized. To think about it, as much as girls were to say 'Don't waste the money', every girl wished to receive flowers, chocolates, gifts or surprises of some sort on this very day. Every girl you see on the street or every girl friend you have on Facebook have received flowers either delivered by the florists or hand delivered by their special someone. You will bound to feel a lil sour if you don't receive anything.

Having said that, I'm so happy that amidst the boyfriend's busy schedule, he made time to arrange a lil surprise for me.

Saw this at Hallmark and I had to get it for the boyfriend!

Managed to pass it to him today when we met for a quick lunch before my pre-employment check up. Totally slipped off my mind and I had to chase after him after we've parted to go on our separate ways. Thank god I remembered!!!

As I've mentioned earlier, I've received countless flowers from the boyfriend. I used to dry every of them to keep as memory. They soon turned moldy and there were too many to keep so now I will take tons of pictures as memory instead. Once the flowers die, I'll throw them away. The pictures will be here forever with me. That explains the camwhore. But then again, we don't need any reason for camwhoring.

Thanks to one of my colleague, I've got a super good deal for the Horizon Deluxe room. (:

We got the room with the Sea View instead of the City View which was we've requested for. So the boyfriend made a complain and we were given a $100 credit to our room. Service recovery is pretty impressive. The service personnel was empowered to offer us the credit there and then. How often do we get that? It's always like 'let me check with my supervisor/manager'.

It was quite shiok to soak in the warm Jacuzzi in the cold weather. No, correction, the water was not warm. It was like burning hot! Took me a while to get my ass in the water. My face was flushed red with the heat and I was feeling groggy after that! I think my body didn't really take the heat well.

As you can see, the Jacuzzi is situated in an awkward place. There were like people walking past all the time. Felt a bit like one of the animals in the enclosure.

New dress for the occasion. (:

The boyfriend brought me to Wild Rocket @ Mount Emily for dinner.
Gorgeous place for a date and the service was good.
I attempted to be adventurous and tried their signature Lasksa Pasta.
It was disastrous! I hated it. Doesn't taste like Lasksa at all. The spaghetti came in green and I knew it was a bad choice as soon as I saw it. It tasted like spaghetti just coated with chopped lemongrass. Just pure bitter. The waiter was so nice, he offered to replace my main course without extra charges!

The dessert there is to die for!!!
We tried the Wild Rocket Chendol and Strawberry Cheesecake.
The both of us LOVE LOVE LOVE the chendol. In comparison, the Strawberry Cheesecake was pretty disappointing. A lil unfair to the cheesecake cuz we had the best dessert first so we expected it to be as awesome as the Chendol. Nonetheless, the Strawberry Cheesecake is still great.

The spread is pretty good but it's just like any of those buffet brekkie you get from any hotel.

Brekkie wasn't included in our deal so we used the 100bucks credit we had to offset. The average brekkie costs us 80+bucks. Totally not worth the money.

One of the most AWESOME trips - Genting 2010!!!!

The 4 of us thought it would be a good idea to go on a short trip before Des leaves for Taiwan. It was a super short trip, more like a weekend getaway. We left on a friday night and were back on Sunday. It was quite a rush for us. You all know that coach ride to Genting is almost half a day.

No pics of myself. I must have looked damn cui for pictures that night! The coach ride that night was damn dangerous. We were seated on the upper deck of the bus with the boyfriend and I in the row. It was a rainy night and the uncle was speeding. I slept through the whole thing, occasionally waking up to check on the progress of our journey. I didn't think it was dangerous or anything that night. It kindda scares me a little whenever I think about that night. I mean we could have, you know, died? But we didn't. Obviously!

We departed at around 11+ on Friday and arrived at 4+ on Saturday. Yea, that's how fast the uncle drove a double decker bus from Singapore all the way to Genting.

We couldn't check in yet when we arrived so we visited the Casino! It was my first time entering a Casino! It was an eye-opener. There were lesser people cuz it's like 5 in the morning. Bin and I hung out at the 'Big-small' booth while Des brought the boyfriend to play the games he play.

I think 'Big-small' is easy and I got lucky in the morning. Won a little, that's cuz we invested only a little! We stayed there till the time for check-in. Then we went to our rooms, had a power nap, showered and went for brekkie at the place Danny recommended.

We didn't like that place. The food was not good and the variety was disappointing. Oh wells, to each his own.

Des and Bin brought us to the mushroom farm for dinner.

The food is AWESOME!!! I don't know why I missed out on the fish's picture. It was the best fish ever. Period. 4 of us ordered portions enough for 6 to share and we finished all the food! All the yummy food for only 141.40RM. C H E A P!!!

KTV time! They gave us a big so big the entire Bites family can fit in and sit comfortably. Can't remember the price but i know it's cheap too.

9 days in Taiwan!!!!

I had the best 9 days one can ever have!!! 9 of us spent 9 days living together. I'm so glad that the boyfriend and I decided to join the pack for the Taiwan trip. (:

So the 7 of us (Wei Jun, Rossy, Jackie Wu, Mili, Julian, the boyfriend and me) travelled all the way to Heng Chun to meet Des & Ah Bin. Having spent 3 days in Heng Chun, we drove to Tai Chung, stayed there for a night and we headed up to Taipei for our last few days!!! I have to say that I'm super impressed by the Taiwanese. The customer service is amazing, everyone is friendly, sincere and honest. I'm talking about those salesgirls at the night & street markets. Every Taiwanese I meet is like so friendly, and they are always wearing that genuine smile on their faces. Love Taiwan, I am definitely going back! (:

There was a lot of travelling throughout the trip but all of us were entertained by our own jokes & Jackie Wu's weird accent. It's really amazing for 9 people to live together in harmony. Everybody saw the ugliest side of each other and accepted one another. The thing we have between us, it cannot be explained clearly in words, it is LOVE. (:

The instructor will click on something machine thingy and the clay will fly out and the goal is to aim and shoot it. All of us get to shoot twice every turn. For my first try, I hit both clays!!! Don't ask me how I did it! I think the instructor totally helped to aim! The gun was too heavy for me to hold so he had to support the gun for me. With the aided aiming, I just had to estimate the timing to fire.

I'm like living in my own world. Everyone was ready for the picture except me. -_-

We had 3 rides and I almost died after all 3 rides. My arms don't feel like mine anymore after that. On several occasions I swear I was contemplating whether to let go. Didn't think I'd have the strength to hold on till the end but I did!

The boys were damn sweet. They helped with the surprise while we were shopping to our hearts' content. They got the cake, accompanied Des to go grab the iPad 2 for Bin's gift.

The girls went back to Bin's room after our intensive retail therapy, with all of us still pretending we forgot her birthday, we discussed about the time to meet the next day and pretended to go back to our own rooms.

We then chiong-ed to Jackie Wu & mili's room which is just next to Bin's room. With the cake and her gift in our hands, we went back to her room to surprise her!!!

It was a stay-in night cuz of the rain from the Typhoon. Stores a Shilin night market might close early. So the boys went Luxy while the girls rest at home.

The girls went shopping at Wu Fen Pu while the boys went to look for the street labels. As a part of Rossy's hens, the 3 of us sponsored 1000NT each to her shopping expenses!

The nails of the pretty salesgirl. She refused to take a picture with us cuz she wasn't in any make up. LOVE her nails! So elaborated and it's only 3000+NT!!!

Finally a meal with a proper seat and no fried stuff. I was a lil disappointed at first cuz I was expecting a meat dish, not knowing that the meat was already with the rice. So lil meat! I love meat. HAHA! The meal was so tasty so I forgot the part on the meat.

Damage for the day, not a lot cuz the things here were more expensive than in Taichung.

The boyfriend says I'm spoilt. Have to admit that. I know the boyfriend damn well. If every girl has a surprise, I know I will have it too. (:
